Haven of Hope has access to large plots of land for planting crops. We have primarily  planted maize (corn), soybeans and peanuts. We use these farms as teaching opportunities to teach farming,  and the crops raised are used  in our feeding program.  We make a nutritious porridge of corn, soybeans and  peanuts which have been ground. We also raise chickens so we can sell the eggs to purchase more  seeds and fertilizer.
